Also, even though some units have minimal modifiers to specific stats (GM Sniper 2's pathetic base melee score of 2, GM guard custom's ranged modifier of 10), due to the units' loadouts and under the right circumstances, those (and other units) can be used effectively in a way that stats alone cannot describe. One example being the Full Armor Gundam (Thunderbolt Version) which is explicitly a ranged focus raid, and another being the Re-GZ which can be built in either direction with custom parts. Due to custom parts and initial starting modifier values, raids aren't always pure melee. A gouf will have a bonus when fighting in ground, amphibious suits will perform better in water ect. Some suits also have different specialtisations eg. Good hit if everything and support usually focuses on ranged support. I enjoy it, just been hard to get friends to play it.Īlso suits come with a bit of jank so you have to learn how they all work and melee will take some practice too There’s a good amount of depth to the game. There are also bases you can destroy which you can do near the end of the game to get a point advantage. I mean you can fight but good luck on that lol. If your losing a fight you can also get out of your mobile suit and run until you can request a new suit. Mobile suits are allocated a cost for balance so in ranked you won’t see a zaku 1 against a zeta gundam or whatever. I.e raid counters support.Įach type of suit has a specialty raid is melee focused, general is well. These different types counter another type. Suits are either raid, general or support. LOADS of mobile suits to pick from.Ĭombat works on a triangle format. So the cut and dry for this game is it’s a bit of a gatcha, you are heavily incentivised to spend money monthly to retain access to all its bonuses.
